Langston Stanfield (Marc Maron) is a gifted but deeply flawed actor who has led a life bereft of meaning. His personal relationships are shallow; his professional achievements are underwhelming. When he is diagnosed with incurable cancer and given six months to live, he becomes obsessed with trying to get into the Oscars In Memoriam montage, believing this will give his life meaning. Along the way, however, he reconnects with a daughter he had never met, and discovers that there are things more important than vanity and fame.
